EECOL ELECTRIC is committed to safeguarding the environment and minimizing or reducing adverse environmental impacts of its operations across Canada.
We will achieve environmental excellence by committing to promote awareness and protection of the environment. We communicate with customers, local communities, employees and suppliers to identify and resolve environmental issues, and conduct our business in compliance with applicable environmental regulations and legislation. We use our resources efficiently to minimize waste and regularly review our environmental strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
We at EECOL continue to do all we can to comply with concept qualities in environmental performance. Some of these concepts include paper recycling, wood pallet recycling, shipping box recycling, wire spool recycling, along with the use of occupancy sensors, winter car plugs, heating and cooling control, energy efficient lighting and power save. EECOL has Energy Star compliant systems throughout our facilities.
Each year we help reduce energy and environment proficiencies. We work in conjunction with Newalta, a waste management firm, to provide our clients with several waste and disposal solutions such as lamp and battery disposal options.

At EECOL, community involvement is not something we just talk about; it is an important part of the way we live, work and do business every day. EECOL has over 55 facilities strategically located throughout Western Canada, including the Yukon and Northwest Territories, and have been involved in our local communities for over 86 years. We support each of our communities in many different ways including charities, charitable BBQ's, community programs, financial support, donating time, and building strong community values.
